Ottumwa, IA - Lotte Adams scored the game-winning goal one minute into the second overtime to lift the ICC women's soccer team to a thrilling 2-1 win over #17 Indian Hills on Sunday afternoon. 

Adams scored the first goal at the 18:26 mark on an assist from Meritxell Mena Borrull to put ICC up 1-0, but the Warriors responded a few minutes later with a goal of their own to tie the match at 1-1.  Both defenses held until Adams' second boot came at the 108:48 mark on an assist from goalkeeper Alba Lopez.

Lopez had four saves as Indian Hills had five shots on goal compared to ICC's four.

Next up:  The Cougars, now 2-0, will head to Bloomington on Thursday to face Illinois Wesleyan University at 6pm at Neis Soccer Field.  ICC coach Javier Valle will face off against his mentor and former ICC men's soccer coach, Oz Bakirdan, who is now the coach for the Titan women.
