East Peoria, IL - The ICC women's soccer team extended their win streak to five as they defeated Lincoln Trail 2-0 in Region 24 action at CougarPlex Field on Thursday afternoon.  

"We're proud of the ladies for the effort they gave today," head coach Javier Valle said.  "It's always good to get a Region 24 win."

Meritxell Borrull got the first goal on a Lotte Adams' assist while Paula Gallardo scored on an assist from Borrull. 

Alba Vigo had two saves at goalkeeper. 

Next up:  The ladies, now 5-0, will play Saturday, September 10 against Wabash Valley at 3pm at CougarPlex Field.
