East Peoria, Ill. - The Illinois Central College women's soccer team blanked the St. Ambrose JV squad 3-0 in non-conference action on a beautiful Thursday evening at ICC CougarPlex Soccer Field.  The win is the Cougars' fourth in a row and moved their overall record to 4-1-1.  

Melia La got the Cougars on the board with about four minutes left in the opening half as she bopped in a header on a corner kick from freshman Louisa Bruns.

ICC's second score came on a Jenna Kinney goal (assist Luiza Junior Dos Santos) and then Dos Santos added another goal on a pass from Peyton Summers.  

The Cougars were on the attack all night, recording 15 shots on goal.  Freshman goalkeeper Jessi Lownds stepped up for the team as goalkeeper, as she recorded the clean sheet.
