East Peoria, Ill. - Illinois Central College softball coach Heather Doty is offering the annual Softball Advanced Camp as well as a Pitching & Catching Camp on Wednesday nights this fall on October 22, 29, November 5, 12, and 19 for girls ages 9-18 at the ICC CougarPlex.

Advanced Camp - designed for players wanting knowledge and training in softball:

• Dates:  October 22, 29, Nov. 5, 12, 19 from 6:00-8:00 pm
• Cost:  One-time enrollment fee of $30 (includes all sessions) and $30 per day (pay as you come & make check payable to ICC Softball)
• Led by head coach Heather Doty and assistant coaches Kathy Holzhauer, Kayla Ford, Juell Hodges, and assisted by current ICC players
• Covers throwing, position specific individual drills, base running, situational hitting, infield and outfield play, relays, bunt coverages, run defense, hitting mechanics, and team defense
• Campers will be in small groups and rotate throughout the camp
• Limited to 50 participants
• Location: ICC CougarPlex Practice Gyms, 1 College Drive, East Peoria, IL 61635

Advanced Pitching & Catching Camp - covers drills & an opportunity for pitchers to throw to catchers:

• Dates: October 22, 29, Nov. 5, 12, 19 from 6:00-8:00 pm from 5:00-6:00 pm
• Cost:  One-time enrollment fee of $30 (includes all sessions) and $20 per day (pay as you come & make check payable to ICC Softball)
• Led by head coach Heather Doty and assistant coaches Kathy Holzhauer, Kayla Ford, Juell Hodges, and assisted by current ICC players
• Covers drills and an opportunity for pitchers to throw to catchers
• Campers will be in small groups and rotate throughout the camp
• Limited to 14 pitchers and 14 catchers
• Location: ICC CougarPlex Practice Gyms, 1 College Drive, East Peoria, IL 61635

Cost:

• One time, $30 enrollment fee, includes all sessions
• $30 per day for advanced camp
• $20 per day for pitching/catching; pay as you come
