Godfrey, Ill. - The Illinois Central College women's soccer team was defeated by #18 Lewis & Clark by a score of 5-1 on Saturday afternoon at Glazebrook Park. 

The Cougars scored in the third minute on a goal by Tori Morin to take an early 1-0 lead but then the Trailblazers answered at the 12th, 20th, and 25th minutes for a 3-1 lead at the half. LCCC added two goals at the 50th and 54th minutes for the final margin.

"The early goal seemed to hurt us," coach Javi Valle said. "It was a frustrating game because we were missing four key players but hopefully this upcoming week off will give us time to get everyone back." 

Lewis & Clark improved to 7-1-1 while ICC dropped to 1-6 overall and 1-2 in Region 24.
