East Peoria, Ill. - Student-athletes in the Illinois Central College Athletic Department earned a cumulative 3.094 grade point average for the 2025-26 school year, making it the second consecutive year the Cougars have gotten above a 3.0 as a department.

Approximately 145 student-athletes participate in athletics at the college. 

Six teams achieved a 3.0 or higher, with the women's soccer team earning the highest GPA with a 3.411. They are coached by Javi Valle.

Golf - 3.215 (coached by Sean Kennedy)
