St. Louis, MO - The Illinois Central College women's soccer team scored first against Columbia State but couldn't hold on as they lost 3-1 on Friday afternoon at Lonnie Folks Field.

"Once again same as in the game against Indian Hills, we got on the scoreboard first and felt comfortable with it going into the half, but then come the second half we just completely shut down and gave them the opportunity to come back," coach Javi Valle said. "We need to be better mentally & physically to turn things around going into the season."

Tori Morin scored the lone goal for ICC, now 0-3.
