Peoria, Ill. - The Illinois Central College women's basketball team volunteered at the Peoria Friendship House of Christian Service's 75th Anniversary Gala on Saturday night. The ladies served dinner to over 170 guests in attendance and assisted with clean-up at the celebration.

Serving were Shonti Ayres, De'Ajah Buchanan, Camryn Driscoll, Andrea Glenn, Lauryn Hamrick, Malorie Harris, Lexi Meyer, Michaela Pilgrim, Hannah West, Ellie VanMeenen, and coach Karrie Redeker.

The official mission of the Friendship House is "to do the work of Jesus Christ, providing hope, respect, and guidance toward a path of prosperity." They have been empowering families in the Peoria area since 1951.
