East Peoria, Ill. - The 13th annual Girls' Basketball Summer League hosted by the Illinois Central College women's basketball coaching staff and team concluded on Thursday night at Ramsey Gym and the CougarPlex.

The league, which began in the summer of 2012, featured 19 area teams and was played on four nights in June.

Area teams participating were: Canton, Dee-Mack, Dunlap, Eureka, Illini Bluffs, IVC, Limestone, Manual, Metamora, Morton, Notre Dame, Pekin, Peoria High, Princeville, Richwoods, Roanoke-Benson, Tremont, and Washington Varsity & JV. Richwoods finished the league with an 8-0 record. 

Women's basketball coaches Karrie Redeker, Stan Prosser, Dennie Hieronymus, and Matt Long, players Camryn Driscoll, Andrea Glenn, Lauryn Hamrick, Malorie Harris, Ava Larson, Lexi Meyer, Michaela Pilgrim, and Ellie VanMeenen, Hannah West kept score and ran concessions. Alum Kam Heider and play-by-play announcer Alex Staab also assisted.
