Peoria, Ill. - Members of the Illinois Central College women's basketball team assisted at the EPiC Family Fun Night & Picnic on Thursday evening. The team played several games with picnic-goers including Pop-A-Shot, bags, mini golf, and helped at the tattoo station, while giving out lots of smiles and high fives.

Assisting were: Shonti Ayres, De'Ajah Buchanan, Camryn Driscoll, Andrea Glenn, Lauryn Hamrick, Malorie Harris, Lexi Meyer, Michaela Pilgrim, Ellie VanMeenen, Hannah West, and coach Karrie Redeker.

For over 70 years, EP!C (Empowering People, Inspiring Capabilities) has refused to accept a diagnosis as an identity and has been a leader in providing education, employment, residential, and clinical opportunities to people with disabilities.  EP!C envisions a world where people with developmental disabilities are inspired, respected, engaged in their community, and empowered to achieve their personal best and where families, guardians, and advocates receive the knowledge, resources, and support they need.
