East Peoria, IL - The Illinois Central College women's soccer team's play was as beautiful as Saturday's weather as the Cougars cruised to a 4-1 win over Wabash Valley in Region 24 action at CougarPlex Field.  

Scoring came from Lotte Adams (2 goals) and one goal each from Meritxell Borrull and Valeria Duque.  Adams, Borrull, Alba Vigo, and Duque each added assists.

The Cougars, who have received votes in the most recent NJCAA DI women's soccer poll, now own a six-game win streak and are 6-0 overall with a 2-0 record in Region 24 play.  WVC dropped to 1-3.  

Next up:  The team will resume action on Saturday, September 17 against Region 24 rival Lewis & Clark (1-1) at 6pm at ICC CougarPlex Field.
