Men's Soccer Team Volunteers at Peoria Zoo

Peoria, IL - The Illinois Central College's Men's Soccer program took on the task of helping out the local community at the Peoria Park District Zoo on Friday, August 8. With up to 60 working hands in attendance, the team took over the Zoo's maintenance and cleaned up the gardening areas around the park.

All volunteers got their gloves on and got to work within groups, tasked with handling multiple different maintenance needs around the wildlife enclosures.

The Peoria Park District Zoo has been an great part of the city's nature and education for over 50 years. Offering many opportunities within the park, including volunteering, education, and wildlife conservation. The team was very happy to make a day out of keeping up with our local wildlife facilities!
